About Discover Mijas

Discover Mijas is an Expaty publication. Expaty is a network of local destination platforms for people considering or building a life somewhere new.

We write for people thinking about a move, a second home, retirement or a property purchase in Mijas, and we try to give them the facts before they spend time and money on a visit. Every figure carries its source and the month or year it refers to, property prices are asking prices and are labelled as such, and where something cannot be confirmed we say so.

How we are funded. Our guides are written to be accurate, not to sell. Discover Mijas is not a real estate agency. When you ask to be put in touch with a local property professional, the introduction is free for you, and we may receive a fee from the professional. That never changes what we publish.
